Can I create pods micro-school on SWOTE?

Yes, you can.

Parents can set up their own virtual schools like Pods and teach in turn. SWOTE system only charges a symbolic basic fee.

SWOTE Pods is still remote education, and children are still learning in their own homes. Conditional parents can help themselves as teachers. Therefore, SWOTE Pods is the safest, freest, fastest, cheapest and fairest.

Does SWOTE have an attendance requirement?

No, it doesn’t.

Their learning and rest time remains unchanged. They learn regularly and interact with their real people teachers all the time. Therefore, even if students don’t attend school, SWOTE can always master the state of students.

Who teaches students at SWOTE?

SWOTE employs trained and licensed teachers, experienced academicians, and innovative thinkers in their fields, all of whom are experienced in teaching in a virtual classroom. Most teachers have bachelor's degrees and many have master's degrees. SWOTE provides ongoing teacher training and professional development opportunities throughout the year as well.

What kind of support does a virtual teacher provide to his/her students?

SWOTE has no virtual teachers, only real teachers.

SWOTE is based on traditional education. SWOTE’s professional teachers provide same support to students as in school learning including in class teaching, assign homework after class, correct students' homework, etc.

Who is responsible for reading and grading students’ course work?

SWOTE students’ assignments are evaluated solely by their assigned teacher every day who review and grade all work in totally the same way as a traditional teacher would review it.

SWOTE forbids teachers to assign homework only but not correct it in time. The homework of the day must be corrected on the same day. Make sure that the existing mistakes have been corrected when students learn new content.

What hours will my student’s teacher be available to my student?

Generally, teachers are available standard working hours.

SWOTE is based on traditional education.  Students must strictly adhere to the same schedule as in school learning.

How, and how often, will my student interact with his/her teacher and/or other students?

Students have the opportunity to communicate daily with their teacher and other students.

What curriculum does SWOTE provide?

It depends on the school you choose. Ask your school principal for more detailed information.

What technology will student need to participate in SWOTE?

Students are required to provide their own computer equipment and should have high-speed Internet access.

What computer skills do SWOTE students need?

Students do not need advanced computer skills to attend SWOTE. There is only one software named Sanwhole Studio installed in student’s computer. We offer tutorial videos; online help documents to help students become comfortable with the software.

Can I use my Apple, Macintosh computer to access SWOTE system?

No. Sanwhole Studio software can only be installed in Windows system.
