In Microsoft Expression Blend, you can use a behavior to trigger visual state changes in the element to which the behavior is applied.

Expression Blend visual state behaviors

The following visual state behaviors are available in Expression Blend:

  • DataStateBehavior���Use the DataStateBehavior behavior to switch between visual states based on whether a condition evaluates to True or to False.

  • GoToStateAction���Use the GoToStateAction action to easily trigger a custom visual state.

SketchFlow visual state behaviors

The following conditional behavior is available in SketchFlow:

  • ActivateStateAction���Use the ActivateStateAction action to apply a trigger that switches between visual states.

NoteNote:

You can use all of the behaviors in available in Expression Blend in SketchFlow projects. However, SketchFlow behaviors are available only in SketchFlow projects.
