Switch -AD[1]- append archive name
This option may be useful when unpacking a group of archives. By default WinRAR places files from all archives in the same folder, but this switch creates a separate folder for files unpacked from each archive. These separate folders are created in destination folder for -ad switch and in each archive folder for -ad1 switch. Destination folder parameter is ignored for -ad1 switch.
Examples
- For every unpacked archive WinRAR will create subfolders below 'data'
WinRAR x -ad *.rar data\
- WinRAR will recursively scan 'arc' folder for *.rar archives and create subfolders in each archive folder
WinRAR x -r -ad1 arc\*.rar
